Djalili, who is currently on his tour in UK, cancels a gig called at the Shropshire, because of the security concerns that reated to his remarks regarding the ongoing Israel-Gaza war.
This decision was take just before the show. The location gave the excuse that there were «circumstances beyond our control» for the postponement.
Jodie Rudd, the centre manager, confirmed that the cancellation was due to security threats made against Djalili.
The comedian, known for his advocacy for a ceasefire in the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, has been vocal about the situation on social media. West Mercia Police stated that they had not received reports of threats against Djalili.
There have been casualties on both sides of the continuing Israel-Gaza conflict as a result of a recent outbreak of violence.
