The Rock" Johnson has made a special request to the Grévin Museum located in Paris. The actor has requested the authorities in the museum to lighten the skin color of his wax figure. The request by Johnson was made after a waxwork model of the actor was roasted on the internet.
The Museum has said that they would “remedy” the waxwork as soon as possible.
Taking to Instagram, Johnson shared a video of comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. mercilessly mocking the statue. Jefferson expressed that in comparison to The Rock, the Paris museum appeared insignificant, akin to David Beckham or a member of the UK royal family.
The actor further said that he would ask his team to reach out to the Grevin Museum, in Paris France and ask them to update his figure with some important details and improvements including skin color.
Creating a bit of humor among fans, the actor also added that whenever he is in Paris next time, he would definitely visit the Museum to have a drink with himself.
As soon as the actor dropped the video, fans were quick to react as they took to the comment section and started sharing comments. While one fan wrote, 'They removed all the melanin from his skin', another commented 'It appears that they were in the middle of creating Vin Diesel and then realized it was meant to be The Rock.'
Responding to the issue, the Grévin Museum dropped an email to the actor wherein they said that the actor rightly mentioned the skin tone, and even the museum authorities have also noticed the same.
