“We have made a few acquisitions in the past, and most of them have been focused on expanding globally in a meaningful way, either by adding new course experiences for students, entering new geographic regions or finding new ways to reach more potential parents and students worldwide,” founder and chief executive Ravi Bhushan told ET. “The acquisition of Edjust is primarily aimed at adding a layer of more meaningful, ethical and transparent processes in sales and marketing on top of the engine we already have.”
With this buyout, the GSV Ventures-backed startup has acquired four companies, including Education10x, a financial literacy education platform for children, in 2021; Schola, a live learning platform for kids, in 2022; and Metamorphosis Edu, which trains students in skills linked to entrepreneurship, in 2023.
Founded in 2020 by Bhushan, the platform offers online, offline and hybrid courses on programming, artificial intelligence, design thinking and financial literacy to children aged 6-16 years.
