Elon Musk's shocking claim: 'They basically want to kill me'. Why is DOGE chief's life at threat?
Elon Musk, tech billionaire and US President Donald Trump's close ally, has claimed that his life was at risk over his role in the Trump administration and drastic cuts made to the federal workforce by a newly created department- DOGE. The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been created by US President Donald Trump and led by the world's richest man has been tasked with cutting US government jobs and other spending.
Musk is leading the effort to drastically reduce the federal workforce and weed out what he sees as taxpayers' money being wasted. In an exclusive interview to Fox News, Musk said, «They basically want to kill me,» over the drastic and potentially illegal cuts made at DOGE has made to the federal government and workforce.

'They basically want to kill me'
«It turns out when you take away the money they're receiving fraudulently they get very upset,» Musk said «They basically want to kill me because I'm stopping their fraud and they want to hurt Tesla because we're stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government and I guess they're bad people. Bad people will do bad things.»
A federal judge on Tuesday blocked billionaire Elon Musk and the DOGE from taking any more steps to shut down the US Agency for International Development, saying their efforts to close the foreign aid agency likely violated the US Constitution. The order requires the Trump administration to restore email and computer access to all employees of USAID, including those put on administrative leave, though it stops short of reversing firings or fully resurrecting the agency. The order also blocks DOGE from making any further cuts to the agency.
