This will be Leyen's first official visit to India since she was elected President of the EU Commission in 2024.
The announcement, made on social media platform X, comes at the time when the world is bracing for US tariffs.
"EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to visit New Delhi on Feb 27-28 with the College of Commissioners! This unprecedented visit highlights the growing momentum in ties —stay tuned," EU in India, European Union's official delegation page for India and Bhutan, wrote on X.
