The F&O contracts of any stock enter the ban period when the open interest (OI) on it crosses 95% of the market wide positions limits or MWPL. The ban is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.
Traders who trade in indices do not encounter a situation of security ban.
The MWPL for ABFRL stood at 91.7% on Wednesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 17.3 million. It was up by 4.80% from the previous session.
The MWPL for GMR Airports Infrastructure stood at 96% on Wednesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 77.1 million. It was down by 0.47% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Hindustan Copper stood at 90.37% on Wednesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 16.2 million. It was up by 0.9% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Vodafone Idea stood at 92.3% on Wednesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 1951.2 million. It was up by 1.60% from the previous session.
