The Future & Options contracts of any stock enter the ban period when the open interest (OI) on it crosses 95% of the market wide positions limits or MWPL. The ban on it is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.

The MWPL for GMR Airports stood at 88.1% on Thursday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 202.7 million. It was down 3.1% from the previous session.
For GNFC, the MWPL stood at 81.1% on Thursday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 6.2 million. It was down 1.7% from the previous session.
The MWPL for HAL stood at 102.4% on Thursday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 11.5 million. It was down 9.4% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Hindustan Copper stood at 89.3% on Thursday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 33.3 million. It was down by 2.4% from the previous session.
