Baalham resurfaces at Fidelity, having departed Ninety One in November after 23 years with the firm. She served as co-portfolio manager of the £544m Global Equity fund alongside Mark Breedon, who retired after 46 years. She was also a founding member of the 4Factor equity team.
Prior to this, Baalham held research and portfolio manager roles at Schroders.

Record's move comes following his departure from Liontrust, which he joined as head of global equities in April 2022 following Liontrust's acquisition of Majedie Asset Management, where he had managed funds for eight years.
Prior to this, Record spent more than a decade as an investment manager at Baillie Gifford .

The double hire follows the announcement of Podger and Eugene Philalithis' retirement, who will step back from active management in March 2024.
Podger managed the Fidelity Global Special Situations fund and Fidelity Funds — World fund, while Philalithis was head of multi-asset investment management.
They will both take up senior adviser roles in a leadership and mentoring capacity.
