British Airways flight, because of a flight attendant dying during the take-off from London, as per reports. In a tragic turn of events during the holiday travel rush, the flyers witnessed the flight attendant, who was 52-year-old, collapsing on the plane. The flight was expected to leave from the Heathrow Airport in London on New Year's Eve to Hongkong, according to The Sun. The doors of the plane were locked and the passengers were seated when the crew member fell to her death.
It was requested by the captain that anybody on the flight, who has experience in the medical field to help the dying crew member. However, despite receiving help from a fellow passenger, police, and medical professionals, she collapsed and could not be saved. Thereafter the flight was called off stating a 'medical emergency'.
In recent weeks this is the second British Airways flight attendant, to pass away after another crew member who was also 52 years old, died on December 23 in the US. As per reports, the employee was in the hotel room after failing to show up for work.
According to a source, the crew was panic-stricken as these were two people in good health who died suddenly with no hidden health issues. The source further have stated that those who died were family men, leaving their families shattered and shocked and that it has been a festive period which is filled with trauma for the flying team at British Airways.
