Antony James, a former Olympic swimmer, was jailed for 21 years after he was found guilty of raping two girls under the age of 18, as well as other sexual offences.

According to the Plymouth crown court, the 35-year-old groomed the girls before sexually assaulting them, The Guardian reported.
James represented Great Britain in the 100m butterfly event at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Antony James found guilty
Hailing from Fort Terrace, Plymouth, James was arrested by police in January 2022. At that time, he was a trainee officer with Devon and Cornwall Police.
The Plymouth Crown Court heard the offences against James that took place between 2012 and 2022.
