Former President asked people to recommend artists or songs he might've missed, concluding his annual tradition that includes favorite films like "Oppenheimer" and books such as James McBride’s “The Heaven & Earth Grocery Story.”
His film list also features productions from his company Higher Ground, like «Rustin» and «Leave the World Behind.» A later addition, «The Color Purple,» earned a spot among his favorite movies.
However, Obama acknowledged his «bias» in selecting three movies from Higher Ground, a company established by the former President and Michelle Obama in 2018.
