My recent stay at the Ritz Carlton Bengaluru was nothing short of transformative. As an editor constantly immersed in deadlines and the hustle of city life, I desperately needed a retreat that would offer both luxury and tranquillity. The Ritz Carlton provided exactly that, and so much more.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the elegance of the interiors struck me. The lobby, with its sophisticated blend of contemporary design and traditional Indian elements, immediately put me at ease. The ambient lighting and plush furnishings created an opulent and inviting atmosphere. It was clear that every detail, from the intricate artwork to the floral arrangements, had been meticulously curated to provide a sense of calm and beauty.
In the walkway to the entrance, you’ll find a sculpture by Pablo Picasso, commissioned by Robert St Croix. This is located right next to Ganache, the patisserie managed by the pastry chef who previously oversaw the bake space at The Ritz-Carlton London. The hotel boasts a collection of 1,240 art pieces, including large murals, paintings, sculptures, and tapestries. Prominent artists featured include Paresh Maity, Satish Gupta, Sujata Bajaj, Revati Sharma Singh, and Bose Krishnamachari.
