Abrdn's once-mighty Global Absolute Return Strategies will cease to operate as a standalone fund after a sustained period of outflows.
After successive tricky years that have seen the vehicle's assets tank to just over £1bn from tens of billions, Gars will be rolled into Abrdn's diversified asset funds, according to company communications first reported by Sky News.
