Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle has announced his separation from his wife, Emma McVey. The couple declared their separation after two years of marriage.
The couple's separation came to public attention via an Instagram Q&A session.
A curious fan inquired about Gaz's relationship status with Emma, to which he candidly replied, «No, we've ended our relationship, and this happened over three weeks ago. Nevertheless, we remain on amicable terms, devoid of any acrimony.» The actor also elaborated on their concerted efforts to shield their children from the aftermath of their decision, underscoring the paramount importance of their well-being to both Gaz and Emma.
Furthermore, the 35-year-old actor added that both Emma and he deserve to be happy as well as being parents.
Gaz and Emma have two children together, a son named Chester and a daughter named Primrose.
In 2016, Gaz and Emma had a romantic encounter, and after a rumored on-off-again stint in their relationship, the couple reportedly patched things up in 2017. In August 2017, they announced that they were expecting their first child, who was born in January 2018.
Their daughter was born the following year in December, just a few days before Christmas.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of this year, Emma underwent major surgery after she was informed of three holes in her heart. In a previous update to her fans a couple of years ago, Emma explained, «I have three significant heart defects, along with damaged tissue that's causing my blood to flow in the wrong direction.»
Emma shared that her right heart chamber has experienced enlargement, leading to significant weakness.
