Gears of War' 6 saw an official announcement yesterday but there is a slight twist to it. This game will not be the sequel to 'Gears of War' 5 as was earlier expected. Instead, it will be coming in as a whole new avatar with an independent backdrop of its own.

A Metro UK report suggests that 'E' in E-Day stands for 'emergence', which means on that particular occasion, the dangerous Locust will attack humans on the planet Sera. Sera is very similar to the Earth, but the entire Gears of War franchise has been set on a different planet with a different name, making things more interesting.
