actor Tyler Christopher aged 50 passed away following a cardiac event at his San Diego apartment.
The news of the actor’s death was announced by Christopher's former 'General Hospital'costar Maurice Benard on Instagram.
«It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tyler Christopher,» he wrote.

Christopher has been popularly known for the portrayal of Nikolas Cassadine on the medical soap opera ‘General Hospital’ from 1996 to 2016, as well as Connor Bishop from 2004 to 2005.
He was awarded with Daytime Emmy for his performance as Nikolas back in 2016, and previously earned four nominations, one of which was a special fan award for an irresistible combination that he shared with Natalia Livingston.
The actor has also worked on “Days of Our Lives” from 2001 to 2019, scoring a Daytime Emmy nomination for his role in a drama series as Stefan DiMera.
Born on November 11, 1972, the actor was married to “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria from 2002 to 2004 and former ESPN reporter Brienne Pedigo from 2008 to 2021.
Christopher and Pedigo had two children, Greysun James Christopher and Boheme Christopher.
Christopher also has other acting stints to his name.
He was part of the ABC Family drama series such as The Lying Game, The Twilight Zone and many others.
Apart from being a well-known figure in the television world, he also had experience in the movies.
He has done movies such as “Shouting Secrets,” “Out of the Black,” “Max Winslow and the House of Secrets,” “Murder, Anyone?” and “Beyond the Lights.”
