Godrej Properties (GPL) on Monday announced that it has sold over 1050 homes worth over Rs 3,000 crores in three days of the Godrej Zenith project launch in Gurugram, Haryana. This is the second time in Gurugram, and the fourth time pan India, that GPL has recorded sales of over Rs 2,000 crore during launch in FY24.
With the hope of strengthening its presence in Gurugram, the real estate arm of Godrej Group is expected to launch new projects in Sector 103, Sector 43, and Sector 54 soon.
“We are delighted with the response to our project, Godrej Zenith. Gurugram is an extremely important market for Godrej Properties, and we will look to further strengthen our presence in Gurugram in the years ahead," said Gaurav Pandey, MD ane CEO, Godrej Properties.
Recently, the company sold inventory worth Rs 2,690 crore in its project, Godrej Reserve, located in Kandivali, Mumbai in Q4 FY24.
The company is hoping to surpass its business development guidance of Rs 15,000 crore for the current financial year, driven by a robust deal pipeline and ongoing consolidation in the real estate market across the country. The December quarter marked Godrej Properties’ highest ever quarterly sales for the second quarter in a row, witnessing a total booking value of Rs 5,720 crore with 4.34 million sq ft of area sold. The developer’s consolidated net profit grew 6% year over year to Rs 62 crore in the quarter to December. Total income for the period surged 43% to Rs 524 crore.
