Grimes recently made a vulnerable admission on social media after criticizing her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk's decision to take their 4-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii, to the White House last month.
What did Grimes reveal about her health?
The singer disclosed her diagnosis of autism and ADHD in a message sent to X on Saturday, March 22.
“This year, I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and I've since discovered that I'm probably dyslexic, which explains why I can't spell at all without using spellcheck," she wrote.

How does she feel about her diagnosis?
“I believe that if we had known this when I was younger, I would have put in a lot less effort at work, used drugs, and many of my strange obsessions and motivations would have been viewed as pathological. I could have also written off some of the things that were really difficult for me, but I'm happy that I overcame them," she added.
Grimes continued by claiming that her symptoms of ADHD «were infinitely worse when she wasn't an avid reader» and that «screen addiction and dopaminergic burnout» are linked to a «huge percentage» of ADHD.
Her thoughts on mental health & social media
The «uninformed social media mental health subculture,» in particular «anti-civilizational» accounts «designed to make people worse,» was also criticized by her, as quoted in a report by Parade.
