Ryan Murphy Productions took to Instagram on Friday to announce making another horror drama and dropped a teaser. It uploaded the teaser of 'Grotesquerie' and described it as a «new horror drama series» that will premiere this fall. The text-only teaser doesn’t contain any footage and flashes the names of cast members Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. The black screen simply voice delivers a monologue.
In the audio, Nash-Betts's character says «I don’t know when it started, I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s different now.» It says further, «There’s been a shift, like something’s opening up in the world — a kind of hole that descends into a nothingness.»
According to 'The Hollywood Reporter', Ryan Murphy has returned the 20th Television and signed a new deal with Disney, though it has not been confirmed officially.
