As part of the ‘honey trap’ he was told that she needed the relevant information for her job in a private firm. The ATS said that the BSF worker had told her he was a computer operator and as part of the ‘love affair’ shared sensitive information with her while accepting money for it.
The arrested youth has also confessed during interrogation that he agreed to pass on classified information in exchange for money. Between January and June 28 this year, he shared sensitive data about ongoing and new constructions in the area under Bhuj BSF's jurisdiction. The ATS said it registered a case at 120-B Gujarat ATS police station and appropriate legal action was being taken in the matter.
