Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) on Wednesday announced that it will be considering the payment of the final dividend for the financial year 2023-24 in its board meeting that will be held on June 26.
“This is to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, the 26th June, 2024 will consider, inter-alia, the recommendation of final dividend for the financial year 2023-24,” said HAL in a filing to the exchanges.
The record date for the final dividend is yet to be made.
The company had earlier declared an interim dividend of Rs 22 per share while announcing its fourth-quarter results for the financial year 2024, which was its highest in the last two years.
HAL shares were also in the news on Tuesday after the Ministry of Defence issued a request for proposal (RFP) to procure 156 Light Combat Helicopters from the company. The tender’s value is said to be worth around Rs 50,000 crore,the largest single order given for the acquisition of choppers to an Indian company.

Defence stocks have been under investor radar after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh set a target to generate military exports worth Rs 50,000 crore on an annual basis and vowed to fast-track initiatives under 'Make in India' for defence production.
