HDFC Bank Q3 Update: Gross advances jump 62% YoY to Rs 24.69 lakh crore

HDFC Bank on Friday reported a 62.4% jump in its gross advances for the quarter that ended December 31, 2023, at Rs 2,469,500 crore versus Rs 1,520,500 crore as of December 31, 2022.
The gross advances were up 4.9% sequentially as against Rs 2,354,600 crore reported in the September quarter.
Grossing up for transfers through inter-bank participation certificates and bills rediscounted, the HDHC Bank’s advances grew 60.7% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis and 3.8% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the company said in its filing to the exchanges.
