Healthtech startup Cloudphysician appoints Oyo's Mandar Vaidya as India CEO
healthcare startup Cloudphysician said it has appointed Mandar Vaidya as its India chief executive officer from June.
Bengaluru-based Cloudphysician is a full-stack tech and operations company that partners with hospitals to manage patients in their intensive care unit and emergency departments.

He moves from hospitality chain OYO, where he was the regional CEO, leading multiple geographies outside of India (Europe, SE Asia, Middle East, and Japan).

Vaidya is also an independent director on the board of drugmaker Cipla. He has been a partner at McKinsey & Co., where he led the healthcare practice in Asia and developed strategies for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
Cloudphysician recently raised $10.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Elevar Equity and venture debt firm Panthera Peak.
“The healthcare landscape in India is evolving and there is a significant
