Hero MotoCorp Thursday beat street estimates to report 14% increase in net profit at Rs 1,203.54 crore for the second quarter ended Sep 30, 2024.
The company had registered net profit of Rs 1,053.81 crore in the corresponding period of the last financial year. Analysts had expected the company to post net profit of Rs 1,156 crore last quarter.
Revenues from operations in the period under consideration went up by 11% to Rs 10,463.21 crore, compared to Rs 9,445.43 crore in the year-ago period.
The company also reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue from parts, accessories and merchandise at Rs. 1456 crore in Q2FY25.
EBITDA (Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) margin for the quarter expanded over the previous year by 40 bps and stood at 14.5%.
