Hero MotoCorp Thursday reported an increase of 12% in standalone net profit at Rs 1202.84 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2024.
The company had reported net profit of Rs 1073.38 crore in the same period of the last financial year. Analysts had expected the company to report net profit of Rs 1122 crore in the period under review.
Revenues from operations in the period under consideration rose 5% to Rs 10210.78 crore, compared to Rs 9723.73 crore recorded in the third quarter of last fiscal year. This is the third consecutive quarter that the company’s revenues have crossed the Rs 10,000-crore mark.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 8% to Rs 1476 crore last quarter. The company sold 14.64 lakh motorcycles and scooters, as against 14.60 lakh units in the year-ago period.
In the nine months to December 31, net profit rose by 20% to Rs 3,529 crore. Revenues from operations went up by 10% to Rs 30,818 crore.
