


Holi train 2024: Railways announce 540 additional trains: Here is the list, routes and other details
Indian Railways has announced plans to run approximately 540 additional train services. These services will connect various key cities across the country, including Mumbai, Patna, Gaya, Katra, Varanasi, Saharanpur, Prayagraj, Pune, and Ambala. Notably, there will be extra departures from New Delhi to accommodate the increased demand.
According to the Ministry of Railways, these additional trains will cover major national routes, such as Delhi-Patna

Compared to the previous year, this year will see the addition of 219 extra services to ensure passengers can reach their destinations conveniently. Measures to control crowds include the deployment of additional security units, as stated by railway officials.

- Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan — New Delhi Express (04034) operating on March 23rd and 30th.
- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra — New Delhi Reserved Express (04075) available on March 24th and 31st.
- New Delhi — Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Reserved Express (04076) running on March 25th and April 1st.
- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra — Varanasi (01654) operating on March 24th and 31st.
- Varanasi — Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express (01653)
