Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, are slated to be recognized at the upcoming Crystal Ball event hosted by the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai. This gala, happening at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on November 9, will honor the couple with the prestigious Hollywood Icon Award.
The event will be emceed by Kate Flannery and will also feature a Humanitarian Award presentation to the Litvack Family and a special performance by Grammy Award winner Lisa Loeb.
The Hollywood Icon awardees are known for their philanthropic endeavors and have founded the Samuel L. and LaTanya R. Jackson Foundation, dedicated to supporting various charitable causes in the United States and Africa.
In 2016, they received recognition from the Children’s Defense Fund for their exceptional contributions to the organization and their dedication to the «Leave No Child Behind» mission.
Richardson Jackson has been recognized with prestigious accolades from renowned organizations, including the United Negro College Fund and the N.Y. Keeper of the Dream Award. Additionally, she was honored by the Ladylike Foundation, a faith-based non-profit dedicated to educating, empowering, and inspiring young women in disadvantaged communities.
