Harsh Goenka, who describes himself as a sports lover, has six tips for the BCCI for the upcoming T-20 World Cup.
In a post on X on 'How can India win the T-20 World Cup', Goenka said, «Pick the team like it is done now in Dream11.»
His second suggestion was to pack the team with batsmen. Goenka suggested the names of six batsmen as well: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
He also proposed Sanju Samson, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant as his choice of wicketkeepers.
Goenka picked Ravindra Jadeja as an all-rounder.
He then suggested Jasprit Bumrah as the bowler.
Finally, he suggested, «Get BCCI to enforce that there is no four-over limitation for Bumrah. And we will win.»
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, which is to be held in the US, is set to start from June 2.
India will start their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland on June 5, followed by a highly anticipated clash against Pakistan on June 9. Both fixtures are slated to unfold at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
