Authorities said that the duo used text messages as well as social media chats, and emails to share account information sourced from dark websites. Prosecutors further claimed that the account information was used to charter a flight for G Herbo and his team members to travel from Chicago to Austin, Texas. G Herbo also used this information to book a six-bedroom Jamaican Villa for $15,000.
In documents submitted to the court, prosecutors said G Herbo “used the proceeds of these frauds to travel to various concert venues and to advance his career by posting photographs and/or videos of himself on the private jets, in the exotic cars, and at the Jamaican villa.” On Friday, July 28, G Herbo, pleaded guilty in the federal court in Springfield, Massachusetts.
