Mera Bill Mera Adhikar to encourage consumers to upload legitimate business-to-consumer (B2C) invoices for purchases of products or services subject to goods and Services Tax (GST). The Scheme will be launched on September 1, 2023.
Consumers can sign up for this mobile application and upload invoices by simply clicking the image of the invoice or by uploading previously saved invoices from the gallery.
All Indian residents are eligible, except those specifically excluded by the Government. Winning invoices will be chosen at regular intervals (monthly/quarterly) using a random draw process.
A lucky draw must have at least Rs 200 worth of invoices to qualify. States of Assam, Gujarat & Haryana and UTs of Puducherry, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu are participating in this pilot project
Step 1: Download Mera Bill mera Adhikar mobile app
Step 2: Click on Sign Up for first time users
Step 3: Enter name and other details as per government ID.
Step 4: Enter mobile number and click on Continue
Step 5: Confirm details and click on Proceed tab. Note that these cannot be changed later and will be required if you win.
Step 6: Enter OTP and click on verification
On successful verification of OTP, Sign up process is complete
Enter mobile number and instant OTP to login and upload the invoice.
