Marvel Studios continues production on Deadpool 3, there have been hints that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine might finally don his classic comic book costume. Despite portraying the character for more than two decades, including in the X-Men franchise since 2000, Jackman's Wolverine has never sported the iconic yellow suit and mask from the comics. However, ongoing rumours suggest that in Deadpool 3, Logan will join forces with Wade Wilson's Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) while wearing his long-awaited superhero attire.

Known for its predominantly yellow colour and distinctive black mask, Wolverine's costume is considered one of the most iconic in Marvel Comics. Despite a teased live-action version in the alternate ending of 2013's The Wolverine, the character, portrayed by Hugh Jackman, never actually donned the classic outfit in subsequent films. While other X-Men characters eventually received faithful adaptations of their comic book suits, Jackman's Wolverine notably missed out.

Instead, he primarily appeared in black leather suits, civilian attire, and, briefly, a tactical suit with minimal yellow accents in 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
