Hyderabad: Traffic advisory issued for swearing-in ceremony of Telangana CM
TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy as the Chief Minister of Telangana. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday afternoon at LB Stadium.
Traffic restrictions will be enforced in the vicinity of LB Stadium from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the advisory said.
Traffic will face either stoppage or diversion at the specified locations/routes
- Vehicles heading from AR Petrol Pump Jn. (Public Gardens) to BJR Statue will not be permitted and will be redirected at A.R. Petrol Pump towards Nampally and Chapel Road.
- Traffic from SBI Gun Foundry towards BJR Circle will be diverted at SBI Gunfoundry towards Chapel Road.
- Vehicles moving from Basheerbagh to BJR Statue will not be allowed and will be rerouted at Basheerbagh towards King Koti/Old MLA Qtrs road.
- Traffic from Sujatha School lane to Khan Lateef Khan building will not be permitted and will be redirected at Sujatha School junction towards Nampally Station Road.
Junctions to steer clear of Panjagutta, VV Statue, Rajiv Gandhi Statue (Monappa), Nirankari, Old PS Saifabad, Lakdikapool, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Complex, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, A.R. Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Himayath Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market, and Hyderguda.
Buses
For RTC buses traveling from Ravindra Bharathi to BJR Statue, it is advised to avoid L.B. Stadium main Gate (in front of Khan Lateef Khan Building) and take an alternative route at A.R. Petrol (Public Gardens) bunk towards Nampally Station Road.
