South Africa posted a huge score of 428 runs against Sri Lanka in its opening match for ICC World Cup 2023 which is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The team was able to set the target for Sri Lanka when all the players, Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen and Aiden Markram, scored centuries leading the total score to 428 for five.
The target set by Australia also is the highest by a team in all the World Cup editions.
Sri Lanka's Dilshan Madushanka (2/86) picked up two wickets.
