In respect to the well-marked low pressure area, IMD has predicted light to moderate intensity rainfall in most places in Nicobar Islands while the weatherman also predict that heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in the region. Moroever, IMD noted that winds of speeds reaching 25-35 kmph to 45 kmoph are expected over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Andaman & Nicobar Islands on November 29.
Moreover, IMD has also adviced the fisherman who are at the sea to return to Andaman & Nicobar Idlands while those on the east coast are advised to return by November 30. The weather department has also light to moderate intensity rainfall over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during December 1 -3 and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during December 2-4.
Meanwhile, IMD noted that heavy rainfall is also predicted in isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period. The forecasters said squally weather is expected in Southeast Bay of Bengal from November 30 onwards with wind speeds reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph.
