Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan) is set to come alive as the India International Trade Fair (IITF) opens its doors on November 14, marking a significant annual event for the capital. Officials have revealed that this year's theme is «Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — United by Trade,» emphasizing global unity through commerce.
Trade Fair participants:
With participation from 28 states and Union territories, IITF 2023 promises a vibrant display of diversity and business acumen until November 27.
The Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) anticipates a staggering turnout, estimating over 10 lakh people to converge during the fair.
The extensive spread of the fair encompasses 110,000 square meters, hosting nearly 3,500 exhibitors from both India and abroad. Notably, representatives from 13 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Oman, Egypt, and UAE, are actively engaging in this year's event.
First Five days for Business Visitors
Minister of State Anupriya Patel will inaugurate the fair on November 14, with the first five days reserved for business-to-business exhibitors.
Focus States
The focus states this year are Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh, while Bihar and Kerala join as partner states. A dedicated pavilion will showcase the theme, ministries, and departments, with 46 central ministries, commodity boards, and PSUs participating.
Trade Fair Tickets and Timings
Tickets are priced at Rs 500 on business days, Rs 80 on general public days, and Rs 150 on weekends, available both online and offline.
