«When India celebrates 100 years of Independence, we will do so as a developed country,» said PM Modi as he hailed the economic growth that India has recorded in the past ten years, highlighting the trajectory of the country's successes during his tenure.
The PM primarily spoke on the Union Budget 2024, and explained how India is performing better economically when compared with the rest of the world-putting a special emphasis on tough times like the covid-19 pandemic.
«India is enjoying low inflation and high growth, unlike the rest of the world which is suffering from high inflation and low growth,» he said.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister talked about upskilling the country's youth by giving them industry exposure.
«We have introduced the internship scheme in Union Budget 2024, in an effort to give a boost to the country's youth, in an effort to help them get employment opportunities.»
Adding to the thought, PM Modi also invited industry experts to join in the government's efforts to create more employment opportunities for India's youth across sectors.
