Info Edge fell 3% on Saturday to the day's low of Rs 5,131.75 on the NSE after the Naukri.com operator informed the exchanges about Google's decision to remove/delist the company's mobile applications, including Naukri.com and 99acres from the Google Play Store.
The company in its filing to the exchanges said that Google's decision comes as a surprise since this action was taken without giving due and sufficient notice to Info Edge.
It said that it is reviewing and evaluating the next course of action and working with Google in this regard to ensure that the company’s mobile applications are reinstated on the Google Play Store in a timely manner.

Meanwhile, the users who already have the company’s mobile applications downloaded on their mobile devices can continue to use the same, the filing said.
Users who are using the company’s mobile applications through other platforms such as the Apple App Store or through the concerned web platforms on mobile and desktop are not impacted by this change.
