quarter of FY 25. The revenues of the company went down by 10 per cent to Rs 627 crore in Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 696 crore in Q2FY24. The net profit of the company, however, went up by 16 per cent to 61 crore in Q2 FY25 from 53 crore in FY24.
Rajesh Aggarwal, managing director of the company said «During the quarter, we observed firming up of raw material prices although excessive and continued rainfall resulted in lower pest infestation. The farmers delayed their spraying schedule, which adversely impacted revenue growth for the Company. The monsoon has been marking India's Wettest monsoon in four years, with rainfall exceeding 100% of the long-term average, increasing sowing for Kharif crop and a promising outlook for Rabi season.»
He added «Having achieved a net profit of Rs 111 crore in the first half of FY25, we have already surpassed the full FY24 profit of Rs 102 crore. Our focus will remain on driving higher growth in premium products, underpinned by new product launches, more extensive demand generation and brand-building initiatives.»
