IPL 2024: The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) will be played on May 19. SRH has qualified for the playoffs while PBKS is out of the tournament.

The IPL 2024 match between SRH and  PBKS will take place at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, May 19, starting at 3:30 pm IST. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) dominated LSG in their last match, effortlessly chasing a target of 166 runs in just 9.4 overs. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head delivered an extraordinary performance, leading SRH to a stunning 10-wicket victory.

SRH, with 7 wins out of 13 matches, secured a playoff spot after their game against Gujarat Titans (GT) was washed out on May 16. 

Since losing captain Shikhar Dhawan to a season-ending injury, nothing has gone right for Punjab Kings (PBKS) this season.

Although the emergence of Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma was a significant positive, misfortune and a lack of balance in the lineup cost them crucial games, ultimately leading to their exit from the IPL 2024 playoff race.

PBKS, led by Sam Curran, have won 5 out of their 13 matches this season. Although already eliminated from the playoff race, they shocked one of the top-performing teams, Rajasthan Royals (RR), with a 5-wicket victory on May 15.
