Shreyas Talpade suffered a massive heart attack and had to be rushed to the hospital on Thursday.
According to a Times Of India report, the ‘Golmaal Returns star collapsed right after completing shooting some sequences for the upcoming Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.
Talpade was admitted to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, where he underwent an angioplasty. His family has reportedly requested the medical staff not to divulge details of his health condition to the media.
However, one unnamed member of the medical team told India Today that the actor was in a stable condition currently. “He was admitted late in the evening and the procedure happened at around 10 pm. He is now doing fine and should be discharged in a few days," they told the publication.
According to a unit member, the news came as a huge shock as the ‘Iqbal’ actor had appeared in high spirits all day, had shot minor action sequences, and joked around with the cast and crew. However, upon returning home, he felt uneasy. His wife Deepti rushed him to the hospital, but he collapsed on the way.

He made his Bollywood debut with the coming-of-age cum sports drama ‘Iqbal’ in 2005. He won accolades for his performance as a visually and hearing-challenged youngster who aspires to become a cricketer.
