IRCTC shares rise 1.91% as Sensex slides

The stock of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 79464.0 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 74.34, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 18.5. Return on equity (ROE) was at 40.58 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 282 stocks traded in the green, while 219 stocks were in the red.
Promotor Holding Promoters held 62.4 per cent in the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 8.08 per cent and 12.72 per cent, respectively.
