Expressing dissatisfaction with the government's online transaction promotion, a user shared, «This is how the government app works, promoting online transactions.
Trying to book Tatkal tickets, and their app fails at 11 AM. Tried four times today, and every time, the payment gateway displayed an error.

One user, facing an emergency situation, lamented, «For the last three days, I've been trying to book Tatkal tickets for Howrah Smvt Duronto Express, but the site isn't working properly. When it does, all tickets are already taken.
How am I supposed to book tickets now?»
Addressing the issue, IRCTC provided an update on X, stating, «E-ticket booking is temporarily affected due to technical reasons. Our technical team is actively working on resolving the issue, and booking will be made available soon.»
In a subsequent tweet, they confirmed, «At 13:55 hrs, e-ticket booking has resumed,» indicating that the technical problem resulted in a three-hour halt in e-ticket booking.
