Musk who had previously supported the Democrats and had criticized Donald Trump has in recent times, supported the former president. The Wall Street Journal had earlier reported that after the assassination attempt on Trump at Butler in Pennsylvania, the serial entrepreneur had pledged to donate $45 million every month. Musk has had many issues with the Biden administration and has called for lesser governmental interference in matters of the economy.
He termed the former President’s conduct after the assassination attempt as commendable and courageous. He has extended his support to Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. However, he said that he was against anyone being considered a ‘cult personality’. He also said that the Republicans embrace the core values of America more than the Democrats.
