Rob Dixon put an emphasis on the finite nature of an equerry's role while noting that transitioning to a new person is part of the process, asserted People. He now plans to return to his position in the Royal Navy after nearly 24 years of service.
Equerries assist senior royals with public engagements and manage their official schedules and typically they serve for near about three years, noted People. Rob Dixon has already exceeded this duration by serving over four years.
