Addressing the rumors about skin bleaching during a recent makeup tutorial for her beauty line, Wyan Beauty,she denied altering her skin tone, stating she is a Black woman and content with her appearance. The tutorial, broadcast live, showed Williams applying makeup.
“And then I put just that neutral color, that is actually my skin color, and no, for you haters out there, I do not bleach my skin.” Williams attributed perceived skin tone variations to sunlight: “There is a thing called sunlight,” she added, “And in that sunlight, you get different colors.”
Addressing those questioning her appearance, Williams said, “Yes, I’m calling you out on this because it is ridiculous.” She reiterated her identity and self-acceptance: “She added that she is a Black woman and she loves who she is and how she looks.”
