It's Modi code of conduct now: Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Tuesday that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has been transformed into the Modi Code of Conduct and if Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins and comes to power, no one will have any right in the country. People will be thrown out of the country, she said, and warned the minorities about NRC.

Addressing a public rally in Purulia, she asked Muslims, Adivasis and people from all communities to vote for Trinamool. Banerjee described Narendra Modi as «an autocratic ruler» who resorts to all sorts of falsehood.
«If Modi comes to power, no one will have any right in the country and people will be thrown out of the country. They will implement NRC and send everyone to jail. Uniform Civil Code will also be implemented,» Banerjee said.
Banerjee claimed that the BJP has been polarising Hindu and Muslims. «Are we not Hindus? We have so many gods,» she said.
