Coronation Street's Sean Ward who once earned GBP 120,000 annually has become so poor that he now sleeps on a mattress on the floor at various friends' houses. The 35-year-old actor has admitted he has been «lonely and isolating». In a a social media post, the actor revealed that he tried to take his own life in 2018 after discovering «evil on this planet». Explaining his post, he said he wanted to use the social media platform to «sieve through the propaganda together» which he said ultimately sabotaged his career.
Sean Ward wrote, «I'm still building a life to feel proud of. It wasn't much of a choice though as far as I'm concerned, but something of a moral necessity.»

Sean explained he has «built himself back up» multiple times over the last three years.
The Coronation Street actor vowed to return to acting «when the time is right». However, he also said losing everything he had built was «hard» and «spiralled out of control». Talking about his health, he said it's an «ongoing process not to numb myself with alcohol and drugs».
