JEE Advanced 2024 Results Analysis: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 today, June 9. Candidates who participated in the exam can now check their results on the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.
The JEE Advanced 2024 exam was conducted on May 26, featuring two parts: Paper 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Alongside the results, IITs have released the final answer key.
According to an official press release, out of 1,86,584 registered candidates, 1,80,200 appeared for both papers. This included 1,39,180 males and 41,020 females. Among those, 48,248 candidates qualified for the exam, comprising 40,284 males and 7,964 females.
The IIT Madras zone saw the highest number of qualified candidates, followed by the IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay zones. Out of the top 500 candidates, 145 hailed from the IIT Madras zone, 136 from IIT Bombay and 122 from IIT Delhi.
Following the announcement of results, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct centralized counseling for admissions to IITs, NITs, and other premier engineering institutes based on JEE Advanced ranks. Registration for JoSAA 2024 will begin on June 10.
