Amazon to ‘amazing’ heights, billionaire Jeff Bezos is busy expanding his real estate portfolio.
The business tycoon recently splurged a staggering $79 million on a sprawling property in Florida’s famous ‘Billionaire Bunker’ island.
Named Indian Creek, this man-made barrier island in Biscayne Bay, Miami, is known as a popular residential place for the world’s richest! The total number of residents on the island is just 81 and consists of people such as Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner, etc.
The island is approximately 300 acres long and has 40 waterfront properties, a golf field, a mayor, a country club, and its own police force!
The new property is located right next to another home owned by the magnate. The other home, which consists of three bedrooms and a waterfront, was purchased by Bezos for a whopping $68 million two months ago.
Citing details from the real estate portal Zillow, a Bloomberg report revealed that the new home is palatial, with seven bedrooms, 14 bedrooms, and innumerable amenities such as a home theatre, a library, a pool, a sauna, a maid’s quarter, a wine cellar and six garage spaces. It is reportedly, about 19,064 square feet and rests on a 1.84 acre land.
The house was reportedly built in 2000, and designed in old-school European style.
