Joe Biden tried his best to present himself as an energetic and enthusiastic person in his State of the Union address to the joint session of the US Congress, special counsel Robert Hur has made several damning revelations in his report. He has written in his report that the commander-in-chief confused key dates during his October interview, he even forgot the year of death of his son Beau and when Donald Trump was elected president of the country, reports the 'New York Post'.
A transcript of Biden’s testimony contradicts the president’s public claims that it was Hur who raised the issue of the death of his son. While recalling a memoir he published, the president referenced his son, who died of brain cancer in 2015. When Hur asked about where Biden kept files for projects he was working on after leaving the vice presidency, he said, «What month did Beau die? Oh God, May 30th.»

He even asked his White House lawyers who were in the room «in 2009, am I still vice president?» and later asked, «when did I stop being vice president?» Joe Biden served as vice president from 2009-2017.
Biden also forgot when Donald Trump became president. He referenced Trump’s election to the presidency and asked if he had been elected in «November of 2017» rather than the previous year.
